The half-day morning program starts with a convenient pick-up from your hotel in Chiang Mai. Enjoy a picturesque drive of approximately 1.5 hours through the countryside, passing winding mountain streams, vibrant rice paddies, golden corn farms, and flourishing banana groves.
Once you reach the sanctuary, you’ll be greeted with genuine hospitality and invited to change into traditional Karen attire. An experienced guide will then share insightful information about the sanctuary’s mission and introduce you to its gentle elephant residents.
Take part in meaningful, hands-on activities by helping prepare nutritious meals and treats for the elephants. You’ll also have the chance to feed them responsibly while keeping a respectful and safe distance. Along the way, gain a deeper understanding of their background, habits, and unique personalities, fostering a memorable bond.
Relax with a cup of freshly gathered herbal tea from the local village as you watch the elephants roam freely in their natural environment. Observe their everyday behaviors, from searching for food in the forest to enjoying mud baths and interacting affectionately with one another.

- Change into traditional Karen attire and attend an informative introduction about the sanctuary and its elephants, led by experienced guides.
